2 RAF Typhoon jets (ZJ942 AND ?) from Coningsby and an A330 Voyager(ZZ330) from Brize Norton were scrambled this morning after a Flight international SAAB 340 FRF101(HA-TAB) cargo flight from Bucharest had communication problems.
Initially the flight was intercepted by By Belgium AF F-16 the flight was eventually escorted to Birmingham Airport by the Typhoons and safely landed at 07:27am
